Elder Support Services works very hard to help the older adult to maintain their independent life style and remain in their home but should the day arrive that it is not possible, we are here to advise and recommend appropriate alternatives.

Relocation Assistance

Our goal is to ease the relocation process and support the senior and their family during and after the transition process.

Elder Support Services will research residential locations to find the most appropriate and safest level of care for the senior.

Elder Support Services will facilitate the move. We will coordinate with professional services that assist with the relocation by helping with the sorting, packing, moving van arrangements, unpacking and settling.

Elder Support Services works with professional Estate Liquidators. If there is a need to assess the value of assets and prepare to sell all or a portion, we will coordinate the services.

Elder Support Services will provide transition support after the physical move has been completed. Moving can be traumatic for the older adult and there is a period of time needed for adjustment. We will provide support for the elder and help them become comfortable in their new environment.
